Do you love heavenly food, delightful wine, gorgeous art (to admire or purchase), special deals at lovely shops, live music, and activities to keep your children busy? Then this is the event for you and your family. And, best of all, this awesome event in the Hamptons will benefit a wonderful cause. The village of Sag Harbor would like to create the John Steinbeck Waterfront Park and this fun, and delicious, fundraiser will help to raise money for their Waterfront Fund, spearheaded by the Mayor and Board of Trustees.
Sag Harbor Partnership will proudly host this all-day affair that includes: One-day deals at participating Sag Harbor Stores who will participate with special deals, raffles, and other enticements to raise funds and celebrate the shops that make this Village so special; an Art for the Park silent auction hosted by Grenning Gallery, Romany Kramoris, Monika Olka Gallery, RJD Gallery, and Tulla Booth Gallery from 2:00pm until 7:45pm (preview offerings on Paddle8 -- https://paddle8.com/auction/sagharborpartnership/); and the Party in the BIG TENT (Long Wharf, Sag Harbor, 5:00pm-8:00pm).
There will also be face painting, puppet making, big bubble blowing, and kids' activities as well as the "Taste of Sag Harbor" (mouth-watering food from local restaurants, the best wine from local vineyards, and Clamrake Lager Beer). The Sag Harbor Fire Department will even be sparking up the grills for a great BBQ! The Wildlife Rescue Center will bring their resident red tailed hawk and great horned owl so you can get up close and personal. And, to top it off, live music by the HooDoo Loungers will set the ambiance.
Some of this year's exciting food and wine participants are:
Although the following plan has not been approved, it is conceptual in nature and the land area will be verified at a later time. This early rending of the proposed park was design by Edmund Hollander Landscape Architect.

A new show of contemporary art by Pierson High School students, “Sag Harbor in Focus”, will now be shown at DODDS & EDER, 11 Bridge St, Sag Harbor, NY from July 7-10th, which includes 24 works of art: 11 WINNERS and 13 Honorable Mentions. A check presentation ceremony for the winners will be held July 10th at 4pm sharp, just before the festivities in the tent. Each winner will receive a $100 check, generously funded by artist Eric Fischl.
“The quality of the work submitted by the Pierson kids blows my mind! I’m just so impressed by their intelligence and sophistication” says artist Eric Fischl, adding “The whole community coming together to celebrate itself and this vision of the Park is absolutely inspirational, and I’m proud to participate.”
